About Us...
A Service Company
We provide custom programming, data conversion, and enhancements to
CounterPoint Point of Sale software for end users and resellers.
In addition to enhancing CounterPoint and doing add-ons, we are experienced in a
wide array of services. Our skills include VB.Net, C#, C++, SQL Server, ASP.Net,
web applications, and COBOL. Data conversion is a specialty.
We would like to work with you. Resellers can be assured we will respect your
relationship with your customers. Call us to discuss ideas or needs.
History
In 1989, Bob Flanagan started DataTech Corporation. In 2003, we
merged with Micronix to expand our market share. DataTech Corporation grew as a company and
became the 2nd largest CounterPoint dealer.
As of November of 2005, we separated the programming services into another company. It has been
over a year and this is running smoothly and transparent to most of our
customers. We continue to provide programming services for DataTech
Corporation, other resellers, and companies.
DataTech continues to do sales and support of CounterPoint for end users. At
Tech-Acumen, we do not sell CounterPoint. Our market is strictly programming
services, software development and add-on products.
Future Goals
Our staff is very seasoned and can deliver quality results on time and within
budget. Depending on the project, we work hourly or for a fixed fee. We are
here to help you provide technical depth to your business and/or customers, increasing your
bottom line.
